Moran’s Mechanical is a small, manufacturing‑first shop in Franklin, Georgia, built on the simple idea that good work still matters. We design, build, and fabricate the machines that do the work — plate rollers, fixtures, tooling, and one‑off equipment that solves real problems on real shop floors.
The shop is majority woman‑owned and run as a partnership, with both of us committed to building something honest, capable, and rooted in the values we were raised with. We’re proud of where we come from, and we’re proud of the work we put our name on.
Before opening our doors to the public, we spent years strengthening our education and hands‑on experience. My own path started with formal machining training and grew into a career that included extensive CNC work for Department of Defense contractors, two years in the plastics industry running 5‑axis gantry routers, and more than two and a half years as a machine builder making parts for sawmills, packaging machines, automated bagging systems, hoppers, labelers, and machine attachments. That range of experience shaped the standards we run this shop by today — precision, reliability, and work that’s built to last.
Today, we bring that same mindset to every job that comes through the shop. Whether it’s custom fabrication, manual machining, machine building, or repair work that needs a craftsman’s touch, we approach it with the same pride and attention to detail.
We’re not trying to be the biggest shop in the South. We’re building a place where capability, craftsmanship, and integrity come first — a place where people can see the work, understand the process, and know exactly who built their equipment.
This is Moran’s Mechanical.
We build the machines that do the work.
